Africa is the second largest, as well as second most populated continent of the world. It covers adjacent islands and wraps almost 6% of the total surface of the earth. This continent is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea at its north, the Indian Ocean to its southeast, the Suez Canal and the Red Sea to the northeast and the Atlantic Ocean at its west. It has almost 53 countries and includes Madagascar and entire island groups.The central eastern Africais widely considered within the scientific community behind the origin of humans and the Hominidae tree. This continent included the equator and characterized by numerous climate. The most distinct thing is that it is the only continent that spans from the northern temperate to southern temperate zones. Due to lack of natural precipitation and irrigation, it does not have natural moderating effect on the climate with the coast as only exception.
